Every close pass is a crash that didn’t happen.
Almost every car-versus-bike collision starts as a pass that came too close, and almost none of those passes are ever recorded. Upload a ride and a model we built ourselves measures how close each vehicle got, flags the ones that shouldn’t have happened, and turns them into a report the police can act on. The near miss is the warning. We make it count.

A cyclist’s POV.
A cyclist uploaded a routine ride. The pipeline tracked the vehicle frame by frame, measured the lateral clearance as it came alongside, and identified it, make, model, color, body type, in a single pass. This is real footage, auto-analyzed.

Three steps. Then forget about it.
Upload
Stitch your clips into one ride and send it up. Uploads resume if the wifi blips, and your card's clear the moment it finishes.
Auto-analyze
Our own model scans every frame, tracks every vehicle, and measures every close pass to the inch.
Download
Open the ride, pick the incident, click Download. A police-ready PDF lands on your machine.
Your camera records in chapters. Stitch makes them a ride.
A 90-minute commute lands on your SD card as eight separate files. Rydiq Stitch is a free desktop app that joins them back into one mp4 without re-encoding, so nothing is lost and it takes seconds, then pushes the finished ride straight to your account.
GoPro, Insta360, Akaso, Cycliq and generic dashcams. Free, forever, on macOS and Windows.

- Lossless
- FFmpeg's concat demuxer copies stream packets directly. Zero re-encode, bit-for-bit identical to the originals.
- Fast
- Joining eight 4 GB files takes seconds, not minutes. The bottleneck is your disk, not your CPU.
- Straight to Rydiq
- Sign in once. When the join finishes, one click sends the ride up for analysis and your card is free to wipe.
“Built so you can wipe the card and trust it’s still yours.”
The whole point of recording is so you have it later. Lose the card, lose the camera, lose the ride, none of that matters once the upload is done.
- Encrypted in transit & at rest
- TLS the whole way up. Server-side encryption on the bucket. Your videos are not a public URL.
- Replicated across regions
- Object storage with cross-region replication. A single drive failure can't lose your ride.
- Yours to export, anytime
- Download originals at any point. Cancel and we'll give you 30 days to pull everything before deletion.
- Not training data
- Your footage isn't used to train models. The detector was trained on public accident footage, not on yours.
Free to try. Thirty a month to keep it forever.

Meet the device doing the watching.
Purpose-built for cyclists. A rear-facing unit that clamps to your seatpost: Pi Zero, GPS, and camera in a single sealed housing, recording every meter behind you.
Seatpost mount
Tool-free clamp wraps around a standard round seatpost. The housing cantilevers out the back, well clear of your pedal stroke.
Levels itself
The clamp keys onto the post so the camera lands level every time. The horizon stays the horizon and the on-device math doesn't have to guess.
Alerts the moment it almost happens.
The same close-pass detection, live as you ride. Rydiq warns you the instant a vehicle gets too close, captures the incident automatically, and adds it to your ride log.
On-device inference. No cloud roundtrip. No delays. The difference between knowing you were nearly hit and knowing you were nearly hit in time to react.
On-device inference
Detection runs locally on your phone or device. No upload required, no latency cost.
Audible & haptic alerts
You'll hear a beeping pattern, and we're working on a connection to head units.
Auto-capture incidents
The clip, distance estimate, and GPS coordinates are saved without you touching anything.
Syncs to your ride history
Every alert gets uploaded post-ride into the same report format you already trust.
